Buying Mounts & Stands in Oman
Fixed or mobile
In Oman the choice usually comes down to whether the display stays put. Ministry boardrooms and lecture theatres are normally fixed-wall installations, where the deciding factors are the VESA hole pattern, the rated load, the depth the bracket adds behind the screen and whether service access is needed to reach the panel's rear ports. Schools, training centres and hospital departments that share one panel across several rooms need a trolley instead, and there the caster quality, the tipping stability and the cable path down the column matter more than anything else on the sheet.

What to send for an accurate quotation
Send the sales desk the exact display model with its weight and VESA pattern, the wall construction — solid block, drywall partition or glazing — the mounting height you want, and whether the deployment is fixed or mobile. How do I get a price?

How do I choose the right mount?
Match three things: the display's VESA pattern, its weight and its size. Every mount listing shows them — for example, the iiyama MD-WM8060 takes VESA patterns up to 800 × 600 mm and 125 kg.
Wall mount or trolley?
Wall mount where the wall can carry the load and the panel stays in one room; a trolley where rooms are shared or the wall can't take it. Motorised, height-adjustable trolleys are listed from Clevertouch, SMART, iiyama and BenQ.
Will my wall take a large panel?
It must be checked first. Panels of 65" and above are heavy two-person loads, so the wall at the mounting position has to carry the panel plus the mount — tell us whether it is solid, block, drywall or glass.
