Interactive Panels 28-49"
Between 28 and 49 inches sits the gap between a desktop screen and a meeting-room panel. These are displays for two to four people gathered close: a small huddle pod, a consultation or clinic room, a design or mapping workstation, a reception and wayfinding screen, or an interactive kiosk where the content needs more area than a monitor gives but the viewing distance is still short.

At this size, mounting and orientation decide as much as the image. Many units in this band are installed portrait for kiosk and wayfinding use, or on an arm at a desk rather than flat on a wall, so the VESA pattern, the depth behind the screen and the cable exit all matter. The other question is whether the display must run content by itself or act purely as a touch screen driven by a host PC — that single decision changes both the model and the quotation.
Displays in this band are listed under LG, Samsung, ViewSonic, Sharp, InFocus and Elo.
Tell the sales desk the viewing distance, the orientation, whether the screen is wall, arm or floor mounted, what will drive the content, and how many units you need.
