The Elo E001002 Edge Connect Magnetic Stripe Reader (MSR) is a module-based card reader designed for integration into Elo interactive display systems. Supporting bi-directional swipe capability and both 2-track and 3-track magnetic encoding standards, the reader accommodates ISO, AAMVA, and ANSI magnetic card formats commonly used in retail, hospitality, and government ID verification workflows.
The MSR connects via USB and operates in both HID (Human Interface Device) and keyboard emulation modes, allowing integration with legacy point-of-sale terminals, access control systems, and membership verification platforms without custom driver installation. Direct Elo mount compatibility means no additional bracketing hardware is required, keeping deployment simple and secure.
