Room Systems
Room systems are complete, pre-matched meeting room kits: a compute unit, a camera or video bar, room audio and a touch controller, supplied as a certified combination for a single conferencing platform. They exist because a room assembled from separately chosen parts can pass its commissioning test and still fail in daily use, whereas a certified bundle is supported and updated as one system.

The first decision is the platform, because it determines the kit and the licensing your IT department will have to provision. The second is room size, which decides the camera and audio components inside the bundle. After that, look at how people join a meeting — a controller on the table against a wall-mounted tablet at the door — how the system is managed and updated remotely, and what happens when a visitor from outside your organisation wants to present, since a dedicated room still needs a guest path.
Room systems here are listed under Logitech, Yealink and Elo.
Tell the sales desk the conferencing platform, the room dimensions and seating count, how many rooms are in scope, and whether an existing display and mount will be reused or supplied as part of the kit.
