Room Controllers
A room controller is the touch panel that sits on the meeting table or beside the door and gives everyone one obvious way to start a call, join a scheduled meeting, share a screen and end the session. It is a small line item that largely decides whether the rest of the room gets used.

The main constraint is compatibility. A controller is paired with a specific room system and platform and units are generally not interchangeable between them, so the controller follows the decision you have already made about the room rather than driving it. After that the questions are placement and cabling: a table-top unit needs a cable route through the furniture, while a wall or door-side mount needs a back box and a power or network drop planned before the fit-out. Some units can also display room booking status outside the room, which changes where they should be installed.
