Document Cameras
A document camera puts a physical object under a lens and onto the room's display: a worked page of handwriting, a printed original, a laboratory specimen, or a piece of equipment being demonstrated. In an Omani classroom or training room it is the tool that keeps paper-based teaching usable alongside an interactive panel, and in a hospital or laboratory it lets a group examine one item together.

What differentiates one unit from another is the capture area — whether it covers a single page or a larger object — the arm, and how quickly it folds and sets up if the camera moves between rooms; the lighting supplied for shadowed objects; and how it connects, whether as a USB source into a room PC and conferencing software, or directly to an input on the display.
