Digital Signage
Digital signage displays are commercial screens built for continuous unattended operation: wayfinding in a ministry lobby, information and menu boards in hospitality, queue and department screens in a hospital, and announcement displays across a campus. They differ from consumer televisions in the ways that matter for a tender — the duty rating, the mounting provisions and the management tooling are specified for a screen expected to run long hours in a public space.

The decisions that shape a signage quotation are orientation, since portrait suits wayfinding pillars while landscape suits information walls; the brightness the location demands, because a screen behind glass in Omani daylight is a different problem from one in an interior corridor; and how content will be delivered, whether from an internal player, a network CMS or a slot-in module. Mounting is rarely trivial either, as signage is often installed into bespoke joinery or freestanding totems.
Displays here are listed under Samsung, ViewSonic, Vestel, iiyama and SMART.
Tell the sales desk the screen size and orientation, the number of screens and locations, the daily operating hours, the ambient light conditions, and the content system you intend to drive them with.
